Racquel Natasha
Jacket: Mackage // Dress: Zara // Boots: Gucci // Clutch: Mackage

Believe it or not, I have been wearing Mackage for over 7 years now.  It is definitely the most stylish contemporary outwear brands out there originating from Montreal, Canada. Every piece makes you sexy, confident yet incredibly comfortable. The quality is immaculate and will last you a decade! It was an absolute honor to attend their Spring / Summer 15' show last week in my hometown, Toronto.
Color is in the air for Spring 2015 as you can see! It is very hard to pull off tasteful pieces with such bold colors, but no doubt in my mind I knew Mackage would do it so well. Yellow, Blue and Pink... yes please!

I am so excited for this collection to come out! The quality of the handbags are extremely high, and at the perfect price point. The arrow clasp details makes it their own signature detail - again so tastefully done! You guys may have seen my white "rubie" on several posts.

The night was extremely eventful with showtime David Pecaut Square at 8pm, then quickly over to an amazing dinner at Portland Variety with the Designers and VIP guests, followed by a fun night of dancing at EFS nightclub.

Thank You Mackage for having me! See you next year! xoxo

10 unexpected beauty uses for coconut oil

posted on: Sunday, October 26, 2014

100 percent natural and free of chemicals - hard to believe right?  Who would have known that there is one single product that would treat and solve every beauty issue and concern. Funny enough I have been using coconut oil since I was a little girl, well.....because my mother made me. Coconut trees grew right in my back yard of Georgetown , Guyana - I had been drinking the water for as long as I can remember. Now it has become of of the biggest health and beauty trends today!

According to Huffington Post this super ingredient is more hydrating than the average store bought moisturizer, because the oil deeply penetrates deep layers of the skin that helps strengthen underlying tissues. I do love my beauty products, but will always have coconut oil

Eye Makeup Remover - apply directly to face as a oil cleanser or use on a cotton pad. Makeup will melt away!

Leave in conditioner - I usually apply this to may hair and scalp just before bedtime 2x a week, and wash the following morning.

Under Eye Cream- Coconut oil is super light weight so, simply use a dab on your index finger, and apply lightly! This really helps to diminish dark circles and fine lines.
Face Moisturizer- Apply at nighttime for the maximum moisturizing results. The antioxidants are great for repairing the skin throughout the night.

Cuticle oil- Apply to base of nails to help peeling cuticles, and also helps to keep manicure longer.

Lip Balm - Coconut oil is one of the best remedies for chapped lips, because it is semi solid at room temperature. Great to use on lips throughout the day!

Stretch Mark Cream - Extremely great for women to use during pregnancy on their stomach. I on the other hand use on the sides of my buttocks where I have stretch marks! the oil helps to reduce the appearance.

Body Scrub - Mix coconut oil with coarse sugar or salt to make a simple yet effective exfoliator.

Makeup Brush Cleaner- It is super important to cleanse your makeup brushes at least a few times a month. Mix baking soda with coconut oil in a bowl , dip brushes into bowl, rinse with warm , water

Body Oil - Natural SPF 4 , Excellent to use on wet skin after the shower then pat dry.

As we all know by now is breast cancer awareness month. Yes, I know October is almost over, but I really love when when collaborates with charities for a good cause.

Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) is an effort of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). This year marks the 20th anniversary of the FTBC.
We all love to share our hashtags on social media, so Nine West goal was to donate $275,000 to the FTBC. Nine west will donate $10 for every pic uploaded of you wearing ANY blue shoes on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #9WFTBC.

I paired these super cute electric blue pumps with my favorite high waisted skinnies by Citizens of Humanity, basic white tee and a statement necklace
