This effortless number from Express includes a V neckline, sheer sleeves, and sash to add a little femininity.  I went for the classic all black look, and brought some edge to the outfit with open toe booties and a crystalized choker. I promise you this romper is sure to become a wardrobe staple!

Believe it or not I got the inspiration of my outfit and creative direction from my living room pictured above. Simple yet Chic.

Summer in the Hamptons with Foray Collective

posted on: Tuesday, September 20, 2016

Is it just me or has this summer just flown on by? Many say this is all a part of growing up... *sigh

Last month  on my birthday August 17th I was lucky enough to head to the East coast along some major blogger babes , and Foray Collective! The Hamptons I would say is USA's ultimate summer vacation spot. We were incredibly lucky to have Chris Burch who owns the leading fashion brand " Tory Burch, host us for the weekend at his beautiful home in Southampton . You can check out the immaculate interior decor in his Architechtural Digest feature HERE

When everyone arrived on the thursday afternoon we headed to Wöllfer Estate Vineyard for Happy hour, and watched the most incredible sunset to hit the east coast , mind you it was a full moon that night!

Boating around Sag Harbor is an absolute must for Hampton vacationers , and obviously Foray collective put together an amazing day on the water with a gournmet lunch prepped by Chris Burchs Chef and Rosé all Day!

For the most part we chilled ate amazing food and got to take in every little thing the hamptons had to offer! not too shabby for a birthday / work trip!

Thank you Foray Collective for an amazing ge!taway

Office style with express

posted on: Friday, September 9, 2016

Believe it or not, dating back to 2007, I worked as a receptionist for a New Car Dealership in Toronto Canada!
My style has definitely changed drastically since then, and although I currently do not have your typical desk job, I do want to give you working ladies some tips and tricks to looking sophisticated and stylish in the office!

I have partnered with Express to share with you my current what to wear to work look!

First off, a black statement blazer is a MUST in your wardrobe! This streamline Embellished Military Jacket is extremely flattering that gives you the iconic look, yet still very modern. I absolutely love the gold buttons, to add some edge.

Black dress pants will never go out of style in my opinion! These High Waisted Wide leg pant shows off your silhouette perfectly, and even gives you some length to your legs!

I wanted to break up the outfit with a casual knit sweater T- shirt shown above with some extra cute lace up sides. Comfort is super important especially for you hard working ladies!

Who says office wear can't be trendy?

express days at the Broad

posted on: Monday, August 22, 2016

Luckily living in LA the summers here are definitely prolonged so jeans and bodysuits are my go-to uniform for frolicking around in the heat! I partnered with Express for this look of a burnt orange body suit paired perfectly with skinny jeans. I really love the lightweight feel and slim fit that you can easily dress up or down!

Moving to Downtown LA has been quite the change, surprisingly enough it is not an easy part of town to live in. The streets are not very clean, and the homeless population is incredibly sad - this is  something that I am not very used to, but it builds character and I have learned to love it so much1

Some of  the most epic resturants are downtown such as Bestia, Baco Mercat and My neighborhood bar Artisan House. I also LOVE to shoot content for my social media and blog DTLA.

There are so many great bars and resturants there are so many inspiring aspects to Downtown for a creative nut like me, The Broad Museum being one of them! I like to spend a couple hours every month there to walk around, have lunch and just collect some inspiration from all of the Art.

One of my favorite pieces in the museum is Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room. This installation is extremely limited , and not all visitors can visit it, so I highly suggest getting to the museum early before it opens, and or making an appointment before hand .
The mirror lined chamber and seemingly endless LED lights inspires me to feel that all possibilites in life are endless. Never give up on your dreams or sell yourself short. One is always capable of much more that you can even imagine! I have always followed my dreams, and to see many of them come true is a blessing!

If you are ever in and around the  downtown LA area I would HIGHLY suggest taking a visit to the broad, and checking out The Infinity mirrored room. Installation will only be able to be viewed till October 2017, so you still have some time!

This is how I get inspiration to #ExpressLife, how do you?

Thank you to Express for partnering on this post.
